The Clinton Huskies 17-U AAU baseball team improved to 7-6 for the summer season after winning two of its last three games in East Shore Travel League action. The Huskies took a loss to New London before sweeping a doubleheader against the CT Rage to give themselves a winning record at this juncture of the campaign.

The Clinton 17-U team hosted New London for a game at the Indian River Complex on July 7. The Huskies took a 10-1 defeat versus New London in the contest.

Then on July 12, the Clinton Huskies took on the CT Rage for a doubleheader at the Indian River Complex. The Huskies swept the set by notching an 8-1 victory over the Rage in the first game of the doubleheader and then claiming a 9-5 triumph in the nightcap.
