Police Incident Report for Jan. 27 to Feb. 2
The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Wednesday, Jan. 27
No arrests were made.
Thursday, Jan. 28
• A 37 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 10:30 a.m. and charged with violation of probation.
Friday, Jan. 29
• An 18 year-old Cheshire man was arrested at 1:46 p.m. and charged with reckless driving.
• A 33 year-old New Britain man was arrested at 2 p.m. and charged with two counts of failure to appear in the second degree on the strength of a warrant.
• A 33 year-old man of Lincoln, Delaware was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:14 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and failure to drive upon the right.
• A 26 year-old New Haven man was issued a citation at 7:05 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license for a commercial vehicle and making an improper turn.
Saturday, Jan. 30
No arrests were made.
Sunday, Jan. 31
• A 34 year-old Cheshire man was arrested at 5:15 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway.
Monday, Feb. 1
No arrests were made.
Tuesday, Feb. 2
• A 43 year-old man of Hartford Turnpike was arrested at 2 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. In the same incident a 31 year-old woman of a different address on Hartford Turnpike was arrested and charged with the same.
• A 51 year-old man of Middletown Avenue was arrested at 8:37 a.m. and charged with assault in the third degree on a person age 60 or older or who is pregnant or handicapped and disorderly conduct.
