Police Incident Report for Jan. 8 to 16
The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Wednesday, Jan. 8
• An 18 year-old man of Laurel Street was arrested at 7:30 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the first degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, disorderly conduct, violation of a protective order, and assault in the third degree. He was processed on a $15,000 surety bond.
• A 45 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 9:36 a.m. and charged with two counts of violation of probation. She was processed on a combined $2,000 bond.
• A 35 year-old North Haven woman was arrested at 12:37 p.m. and charged with possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of cannabis. She was processed on a $2,500 bond.
Thursday, Jan. 9
No arrests were made.
Friday, Jan. 10
• A 42 year-old man of Borman Road was arrested at 1:10 a.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than one-half ounce of cannabis. He was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.
• A 19 year-old man of Blatchley Avenue was arrested at 11:59 a.m. and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to sell or dispense, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to display plates, improper use of marker plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on St. Andrews Avenue near Charter Oak Avenue. He was processed on a $1,500 bond.
• A 49 year-old man of a Saltonstall Parkway apartment was arrested at 10:19 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway following a motor vehicle stop in front of East Frontage Road. He was processed on a $1,000 bond.
Saturday, Jan. 11 to Sunday, Jan. 12
No arrests were made.
Monday, Jan. 13
• A 39 year-old man of Saltonstall Parkway was arrested at 2:26 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• A 46 year-old Branford man was arrested at 7:02 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.
• A 39 year-old Guilford man was arrested at 8:22 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs following a motor vehicle stop in front of 68 Frontage Road.
Tuesday, Jan. 14
• A 48 year-old man of Glenmoor Drive was arrested at 1:20 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the third degree.
• A 26 year-old Bethel man was arrested at 2:13 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, assault in the third degree, and threatening in the second degree following an investigation on Boston Avenue. He was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.
• A 46 year-old woman of Coe Avenue was arrested at 8:56 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the second degree. She was processed on a $10,000 surety bond.
Wednesday, Jan. 15
• A 63 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 10:23 a.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the second degree.
• A 36 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 1:55 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway following a motor vehicle stop in front of 121 West Frontage Road.
