Police Incident Report for Oct. 6 to 14
The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Sunday, Oct. 6
• A 46 year-old woman of Ball Road was arrested at 4 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
Monday, Oct. 7
• A 41 year-old New London man was arrested at 7:15 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.
• A 57 year-old Bridgeport man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:10 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and improper use of a marker plate.
• A 50 year-old woman of unrecorded address was issued a misdemeanor summons at 8:51 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart.
Tuesday, Oct. 8
No arrests were made.
• A 34 year-old Hamden man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:19 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and traveling too fast for conditions.
Wednesday, Oct. 9
• A 43 year-old West Haven man was arrested at 2 a.m. and charged with conspiracy to commit larceny in the fourth degree and conspiracy to commit forgery in the second degree.
• A 46 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree. While in custody, he was also charged with failure to appear in the second degree on an outstanding warrant.
Thursday, Oct. 10
• A 67 year-old woman of South Avenue was arrested at 9:15 a.m. and charged with violation of a protective order.
• A 28 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4:54 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and failure to register a commercial vehicle.
• A 26 year-old man of Roger Avenue was issued a misdemeanor summons at 7:25 p.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury) and failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart.
Friday, Oct. 11
No arrests were made.
• A 31 year-old Meriden woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 7:34 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and misuse of plate.
Saturday, Oct. 12
No arrests were made.
• A 30 year-old man of New York, New York and a 28 year-old man of Bronx, New York were arrested at 9:05 p.m. Each party was charged with criminal attempt to commit larceny in the fourth degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the fourth degree, criminal attempt to commit identity theft in the third degree, and conspiracy to commit identity theft in the third degree.
Sunday, Oct. 13
No arrests were made.
• A 41 year-old West Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:37 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
• A 25 year-old Branford man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:48 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to have two headlamps.
Monday, Oct. 14
• A 62 year-old man of Pool Road was arrested at 2:30 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the first degree.
• A 57 year-old man of Hartford Turnpike was arrested at 8:45 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and illegal possession of a narcotic.
• A 37 year-old Manchester man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 8:30 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.
