Police Incident Report for Sept. 4 to 24
The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Wednesday, Sept. 4
• An 18 year-old Stratford man, a 20 year-old Stratford man, and an 18 year-old Middletown man were arrested at 2:15 a.m. Each party was charged with criminal trespass in the second degree, larceny in the third degree, conspiracy to commit larceny in the third degree, and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest. Each was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.
• A 23 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:03 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest.
Thursday, Sept. 5
• A 26 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 9 p.m. and charged with possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, improper use of marker plate, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and improper passing. She was processed on a $25,000 surety bond.
Friday, Sept. 6
• A 22 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 12:50 p.m. and charged with violation of probation.
Saturday, Sept. 7
• A 61 year-old woman of a Coe Avenue apartment was arrested at 1:36 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. She was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.
Sunday, Sept. 8
• A 34 year-old man of Birch Lane was arrested at 10:13 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and threatening in the second degree. He was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.
• A 49 year-old homeless man was arrested at 6:35 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree following a shoplifting incident at 370 Hemingway Avenue.
• A 25 year-old man of Martin Road was arrested at 6:48 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.
• A 42 year-old Madison man was arrested at 7:16 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
Monday, Sept. 9
No arrests were made.
Tuesday, Sept. 10
• A 40 year-old woman of Waldo Street was arrested at 6:30 a.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the second degree. She was processed on a $2,500 surety bond.
Wednesday, Sept. 11
• A 24 year-old man of Bradford Avenue was arrested at 12:03 p.m. and charged with operating a drug factory, possession with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school or public housing, and possession of drugs near a school as a non-student. He was processed on a $25,000 surety bond.
Thursday, Sept. 12
• A 60 year-old woman of Thornton Drive was arrested at 10:19 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.
Friday, Sept. 13
• A 19 year-old North Haven man was arrested at 6:05 p.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree and failure to wear face protection while operating a motorcycle following a motor vehicle stop on South Dale Street near Foxon Road. He was processed on a $2,500 surety bond.
Saturday, Sept. 14 to Monday, Sept. 16
No arrests were made.
Tuesday, Sept. 17
• A 28 year-old man of Prospect Road was arrested at 12:30 a.m. and charged with violation of probation, criminal mischief in the second degree, two counts of disorderly conduct, and two counts of threatening in the second degree. He was processed on a combined $125,000 surety bond.
• A 30 year-old man of Taylor Avenue was arrested at 2:20 p.m. and charged with larceny in the second degree and robbery in the first degree following an investigation at 75 Redwood Drive. He was processed on a $100,000 surety bond.
Wednesday, Sept. 18
• A 27 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 7:20 p.m. and charged with criminal trespass in the third degree, possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis, and possession with intent to sell. He was processed on a $25,000 surety bond.
• A 37 year-old Branford man was arrested at 7:20 p.m. and charged with possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
Thursday, Sept. 19
• A 31 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 6 p.m. on a warrant charging with failure to appear in the second degree. He was also charged with operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension, traveling unreasonably fast, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.
• A 73 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 6:05 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.
• A 42 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 6:05 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis.
• A 38 year-old woman of Coe Avenue was arrested at 6:50 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, and refusing to be fingerprinted. She was processed on a $15,000 surety bond. In the same incident a 31 year-old man of the same residence was arrested and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest. He was processed on a $15,000 surety bond.
Friday, Sept. 20
No arrests were made.
Saturday, Sept. 21
• A 33 year-old Bridgeport man was arrested at 12:46 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of a pistol or revolver, carrying a pistol without a permit, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, interfering with an officer/resisting arrest, and possession of less than one-half ounce of cannabis. He was processed on a $100,000 surety bond.
• A 39 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:35 p.m. and charged with violation of probation, larceny in the sixth degree, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. He was processed on a combined $15,000 surety bond.
• A 32 year-old man was Borrman Road was arrested at 9:40 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, possession of greater than one-half ounce of cannabis, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple-lane highway. He was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.
Sunday, Sept. 22 to Tuesday, Sept. 24
