Police Incident Report for Feb. 6 to 12
The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Wednesday, Jan. 6
No arrests were made.
• A 39 year-old woman of Ridge Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:59 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Thursday, Jan. 7
No arrests were made.
• A 52 year-old West Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:39 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to carry an operator’s license.
• A 22 year-old Derby man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:54 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
• A 58 year-old West Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 7:30 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and improper use of marker plate.
Friday, Feb. 8
• A 48 year-old man of Dover Road was arrested at 4:30 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree and threatening in the second degree.
Saturday, Feb. 9
• A 26 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 5:06 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
• A 27 year-old Meriden woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:45 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
• A 56 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:25 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Sunday, Feb. 10
No arrests were made.
Monday, Feb. 11
• A 29 year-old Wallingford man was arrested at 12:40 p.m. and charged with forgery in the third degree and criminal attempt to commit larceny in the third degree.
Tuesday, Feb. 12
No arrests were made.
From Feb. 6 to 12, North Haven police issued six citations to motorists for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, four citations for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, three citations for failure to register a commercial vehicle, and two citations for traveling unreasonably fast. One citation was issued for each of the following: failure to renew registration, failure to grant right of way, traveling too fast for conditions, improper license classification for vehicle driven, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.
