• A 78 year-old Guilford woman was issued a citation at 9:14 a.m. for traveling too fast for conditions. She was operating a 2011 Toyota Rav4 Limited southbound on Route 79 when she struck the rear of a 2011 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab operated by a 65 year-old man of North Roast Meat Hill Road that had slowed for a turn. Both drivers complained of pain but refused medical attention at the scene. They stated they would arrange for their own medical follow-up.
