Wednesday, July 4
• A 29 year-old man of Lovers Lane was arrested at 6:30 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart following a motor vehicle stop in front of 762 Boston Post Road. He consented to and failed a standardized field sobriety test.
• A domestic dispute involving an assault was investigated on Sportsman Hill Road at 5 a.m.
• A larceny was investigated at 57 Dudley Lane at 7:26 a.m.
• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated on Hammonasset Connector at Interstate 95 exit 62 at 4:15 p.m.
Thursday, July 5
• A 38 year-old woman of Johnson Lane was arrested at 7:47 a.m. on warrants charging her with eight counts of failure to appear in the second degree.
• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated on Durham Road at Forest Road at 8:50 a.m.
• Vandalism was investigated at 600 Boston Post Road at 10:38 p.m.
• Violation of a protective order was investigated on Edinburgh Lane at 6:20 p.m.
Friday, July 6
No arrests were made.
• A larceny attempt was investigated at 43 Harkness Drive at 8:49 a.m.
• An animal nuisance was investigated in front of 250 Legend Hill Road at 8:54 p.m. The offending animal was gone when police arrived.
• A motor vehicle crash on private property in which a driver evaded (fled) the scene was investigated at 613 Boston Post Road at 9:44 a.m.
• A transformer fire was reported at 4 Jonathans Landing at 10:22 a.m.
• A structure fire was reported at 211 Neck Road at 1:46 p.m.
• Animal nuisances were investigated on Cottage Road at Merry Lane at 4:45 p.m., 205 Mungertown Road at 6:58 p.m., and on Summer Hill Road at Shepard’s Trail at 7:36 p.m.
• A theft of credit cards was investigated at 761 Boston Post Road at 8:02 p.m.

• Assistance was provided to another agency to a water rescue at 1288 Boston Post Road at 2:10 p.m.
• A shoplifting incident was investigated at 136 Samson Rock Drive at 4:48 p.m.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 514 Green Hill Road at 6:05 p.m.
• A structure fire was reported at 208 Fort Path Road at 6:31 p.m.

• A domestic dispute/breach of peace incident was investigated on the 500 block of Opening Hill Road at 10:18 a.m.

• A breach of peace incident was investigated at 87 Surf Club Road at 10:40 p.m.
• A motor vehicle crash in which one drive evaded (fled) the scene was investigated on Boston Post Road at Wildwood Avenue at 9:33 p.m.
Monday, July 9
• A 49 year-old man of Harkness Drive was arrested at 12:15 p.m. and charged with three counts of larceny in the third degree, three counts of identity theft in the first degree, and three counts of criminal impersonation.
• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated on Boston Post Road at Hammonasset Connector at 2:22 p.m.
• Threatening was investigated on Harkness Drive at 3:28 p.m.
• A motor vehicle crash without injuries was investigated on Copse Road at Boston Post Road at 6:09 p.m.

• A 40 year-old man of Winter Hill Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:29 a.m. for speeding at over 60 miles per hour on a secondary road and failure to carry proof of insurance.
• A larceny was investigated at 136 Samson Rock Drive at 7:46 a.m.
• A larceny from a residence was investigated at 70 Woodland Road at 5:12 p.m.
• A motor vehicle crash with injuries was investigated on Overbrook Road at Durham Road at 5:40 p.m.
• A stray animal was found at 415 Copse Road at 8:34 p.m.

• A 17 year-old boy of Tower Hill Road was issued a citation at 2:17 p.m. for making an unsafe movement from a stopped or standing position. He was operating a 1962 Mercury Comet northbound on Route 81 just north of Lovers Lane when he lost control of the vehicle as he attempted to negotiate a curve. The Comet traveled off the left shoulder of the roadway and struck a tree and a sign support. A 16 year-old girl of L’Hommedieu Road was a passenger onboard. No injuries were reported by either occupant of the Comet or observed by the investigating trooper.
