Thursday, Dec. 21
• A 30 year-old North Branford woman was arrested at 5:25 p.m. and charged with criminal attempt to commit larceny in the sixth degree.
• Harassment was investigated on Sagamore Street at 10:32 a.m. The complainant visited police headquarters with a text message to show as evidence.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 412 Schoolside Lane at 3:16 p.m.
• A purse was found in a carriage at Walmart, 900 Boston Post Road, and turned over to police at 4:35 p.m.
• A complaint about fraud with a credit card was investigated at 612 White Birch Drive at 6:53 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 22
• A 74 year-old man of Little Harbor Road was arrested at 10:56 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to grant right of way at an intersection following a motor incident near 35 Boston Street.
• Crompton Recovery contacted police about a pending property repossession at 330 South Hoop Pole Road at 3:31 a.m.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 122 North Fair Street at 8:49 a.m.
• A theft of copper was investigated at 801 Mulberry Point Road at 1:13 p.m. Scrap copper was stolen during the overnight hours from the side of the residence.
• Harassment was investigated on the 600 block of Long Hill Road at 2:45 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 23
No arrests were made.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 1146 Boston Post Road at 8:21 a.m.
• Littering was investigated at 300 Rockland Road at 8:38 a.m. The complainant found six large white bags of trash on his property.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 35 Lone Pine Trail at 12:24 p.m. Details of the incident were redacted by police.
• A wallet was found at 500 Boston Post Road and turned over to police at 3:29 p.m.
• A report of a 29 year-old female yelling and screaming was investigated on Davis Drive at 9:16 p.m.
• Harassment via text messages was investigated on Fox Run at 9:22 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 24
No arrests were made.
• A wallet was found in the roadway on Saw Mill Road and turned over to police at 7:58 a.m.
• A domestic dispute was investigated on the 500 block of Route 80 at 12:13 p.m.
Monday, Dec. 25
No arrests were made.
• A domestic dispute was investigated on Arrowhead Drive at 8:49 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 26
No arrests were made.
• Police were informed of an imminent property repossession at 64 South Hoop Pole Road at 9:13 a.m.
• A woman reported finding a bicycle on the edge of her property at 200 Boston Post Road at 2:56 p.m.
• A complaint about a group of teenaged males operating bicycles in the roadway in an unsafe manner was investigated on Boston Street at 4:05 p.m. The teens were advised to stay out of the roadway and to use caution. They stated that they understood.
Wednesday, Dec. 27
• A 57 year-old man of Mafre Drive was arrested at 11 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful restraint in the second degree.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 833 Little Meadow Road at 10:07 a.m.
• Harassment was investigated on the 300 block of Whitfield Street at 2:25 p.m.
• Harassment was investigated on the 1400 of Little Meadow Road at 2:28 p.m.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 1114 Little Meadow Road at 4:37 p.m.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 1999 Long Hill Road at 9:06 p.m. Details of the incident were redacted by police.
Thursday, Dec. 28
No arrests were made.
• A 54 year-old Clinton man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:35 a.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident) following a motor vehicle crash of Church Street.
• A complaint about a woman yelling for help was investigated on Wauwinet Trail at 12:57 a.m. The area was checked and all was quiet.
• A caller reported concern for the welfare of three swans on Lake Quonnipaug, 4000 Durham Road, at 9:15 a.m.
Friday, Dec. 29
No arrests were made.
• A report about a possible suicide was called into police headquarters at 9:50 a.m. Police responded and broke into the house through the front door since no one responded to knocks or the door bell. The family was on vacation in upstate New York at the time and no persons were inside the house. Police then learned that the wrong name and address was given for the possible suicide by the Veterans Crisis Line.
• Erratic operation of a silver Volvo was reported on Route 77 (Durham Road) northbound at 5:07 p.m. The anonymous caller then reported that the Volvo pulled into a driveway on Route 77 just north of Lake Quonnipaug. Police responded and spoke with the operator of the Volvo. She stated that she was traveling the speed limit with concern for icy patches in the roadway. Police detected no problems. The woman had no signs of impairment of other issues.
• A domestic dispute was investigated below the 100 block of Sachems Head Road at 9:11 p.m. Police heard an argument in the background during a hang-up 911 call.
Saturday, Dec. 30
• A 25 year-old Branford man was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct at a Rosemary Lane residence.
• A larceny was investigated at 705 Boston Post Road at 11:33 a.m. An unknown person broke into a parked vehicle bearing Connecticut registration plate 213SNO while it was parked and unoccupied in front of Planet Fitness. A stolen purse from the incident was recovered.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated on the 300 block of Boston Post Road at 12:33 p.m. A white male was yelling and swearing at the complainant’s residence. The man left in a vehicle bearing Connecticut registration plate 870RVL. The investigation also involved a residence on White Birch Drive. Both parties were spoken to and both parties wished to document the incident only.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated on the 2300 block of Boston Post Road at 7:55 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 31
No arrests were made.
• A larceny was investigated at New England Medical Specialists, 354 Old Whitfield Street, at 11:05 a.m. A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle. The same crime was committed over the past few months on other vehicles parked in the adjacent train station parking lot.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated on Granite Road at 1:57 p.m.
Monday, Jan. 1
No arrests were made.
• A 43 year-old Bridgeport man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11 p.m. for possession of marijuana and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing marijuana. He was arrested at the Yale New Haven Shoreline Medical Center, 111 Goose Lane, where he was a patient.
Tuesday, Jan. 2
No arrests were made.
• A complaint about fraud/flim flam was investigated at the Mobil station, 500 Boston Post Road, at 3:59 p.m.
• A complaint about Internet fraud was investigated at 100 Fall Road at 10:38 a.m.
• Auto Lock Unlimited faxed a property repossession report to police for 59 Hoadley Creek Circle at 12:58 p.m.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 99 Old Pent Road at 2:59 p.m.
• A complaint about identity fraud was investigated at 116 South Hoop Pole Road at 7:59 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 3
No arrests were made.
• A complaint about credit card fraud was investigated at 64 Union Street at 10:30 a.m.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 40 Maupas Road at 2:25 p.m. A vehicle was driven on the soccer field at Guilford Lakes School. The driver drove the vehicle in circles, causing significant damage.
• A larceny was investigated at New England Medical Specialists, 354 old Whitfield Street, at 3:57 p.m. A catalytic converter was removed from the complainant’s vehicle during the day.
