Thursday, Nov. 9
• A 33 year-old Westbrook man was arrested at 11:40 a.m. and charged with violation of a protective order.
• A complaint about fraudulent access to a bank account on a home computer was investigated at 115 Bunker Hill Road at 9:10 a.m.
• A complaint about fraudulent use of a credit card was investigated at 500 Whitfield Street at 11:18 a.m.
• A report of a man laying in the grass in front of Sweet Frog, 893 Boston Post Road, was investigated at 4:51 p.m. Police learned that the man was waiting for a bus.
• Suspicious activity was investigated at 1001 Boston Post Road at 8:42 a.m. An anonymous caller reported that a scruffy looking white male was standing in front of the ATM machine and that a red car was parked in the area. Police learned the man was a repairman and there were no problems.
• A complaint about loud music from Augur’s Irish Pub, 29 Water Street, was investigated at 10:06 p.m. The owner was advised of the complaint and the exterior door was closed. The live band members also turned down their amplifiers.
Friday, Nov. 10
• A 42 year-old man of Maupus Road was arrested at 2:01 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.
• The theft of a catalytic converter was investigated at the south-side Amtrak train station at 2:22 p.m. The converter was sawed off a parked vehicle.
• Harassment was investigated on Maupas Road at 2:26 p.m.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on River Colony at 4:28 p.m. A complainant reported that the upstairs neighbor was yelling and screaming about the complainant’s smoking.
Saturday, Nov. 11
No arrests were made.
• An anonymous caller reported that access to and from property on 2443 Boston Post Road was impeded due to protestors at 2:47 p.m. Police told the protestors to stay across the street on the sidewalk.
• A complainant reported that juveniles were throwing rocks at his home on the 300 block of Willow Road at 8:23 p.m. Police searched the area and were unable to locate the youths.
Sunday, Nov. 12
No arrests were made.
Monday, Nov. 13
• A 57 year-old man of Long Hill Road was arrested at 8 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, breach of peace in the second degree, and throwing objects at a motor vehicle.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated at the XtraMart/Mobil station, 1164 Boston Post Road, at 7:29 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 14
No arrests were made.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 577 Nutplains Road at 2:17 p.m. Between Oct. 7 and Nov. 7 a basement window was broken on the north side. The alarm was not activated.
Wednesday, Nov. 15
No arrests were made.
• Police were informed that a vehicle repossession was planned at 1691 Boston Post Road by Northern Storage and Transport at 3:57 a.m.
Thursday, Nov. 16
• A 25 year-old man of Westfield, New Jersey was arrested at 7:33 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.
• Harassment was investigated on Water Street at 8:44 a.m.
• Harassment was investigated on Sagamore Street at 10:37 a.m.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 423 Durham Road at 1:30 p.m. The complainant reported a fraudulent call from a person in Kingston, Jamaica.
• A motor vehicle crash in which a driver evaded (fled) the scene was investigated on Water Street at Whitfield Street at 3:49 p.m.
• The possible theft of a Fed Ex package from 1116 Boston Post Road was investigated at 6:15 p.m. The complainant reported a white female with long hair as the possible thief.
• A domestic dispute was investigated on Greystone Way at 7:51 p.m. The dispute was verbal only.
Friday, Nov. 17
No arrests were made.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated on the 2300 block of Boston Post Road at 8:44 a.m.
• Harassment was investigated on the 300 block of Old Whitfield Street at 3:20 p.m. The complainant reported that he was being harassed by a child whom he called by mistake.
• An anonymous caller reported that a Ford Focus was being operated erratically on Water Street southbound onto Whitfield Street at 5:02 p.m. Police could not locate the suspect vehicle.
Saturday, Nov. 18
• A 31 year-old man of Hoop Pole Road was arrested at 7:55 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 720 Nut Plains Road at 12:45 a.m. A mailbox was damaged.
• A larceny was investigated at 188 Mulberry Point Road at 8:15 a.m. Packages were taken front the front stoop of the complainant’s residence.
• A complaint about fraud involving identity theft was investigated at 57 Redcoat Lane at 1:29 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 19
• A 25 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 4:30 p.m. and charged with four counts of larceny in the fourth degree.
• A 43 year-old man of Glenwood Drive was arrested at 9:02 p.m. and charged with evading responsibility (fleeing the scene of an accident) following a motor vehicle crash in front of 111 Goose Lane.
• A domestic dispute between a husband and wife over car keys was investigated on the 4600 block of Durham Road at 10:11 a.m.
• A domestic dispute was investigated on the 400 block of Boston Street at 4:23 p.m.
• A domestic dispute was investigated on Cornfield Lane at 6:02 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 20
No arrests were made.
• The theft of a motor vehicle was investigated on County Road at West Street at 9:50 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 21
• A 25 year-old man of Nut Plains Road was arrested at 11:58 p.m. and charged with failure to appear in the second degree.
• Harassment was investigated on York Street at 11:02 a.m.
• A complaint about fraud was investigated at 128 Meadow Hills Drive at 2:30 p.m.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 17 River Colony at 3:47 p.m. Details of the incident were redacted by police.
Wednesday, Nov. 22
No arrests were made.
