• A theft from a motor vehicle was investigated at 21 Wilshire Road at 12:05 p.m.
• A motor vehicle accident on private property was investigated at 131 Samson Rock Drive a 2:23 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated at 589 Boston Post Road at 2:55 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 4
• A 34 year-old New London woman was arrested at 2 a.m. ad charged with criminal impersonation and forgery in the second degree.
• A 43 year-old Clinton man was arrested at 7:15 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree, interfering with a 911 emergency call, and unlawful restraint in the second degree.
• A 25 year-old Meriden man was arrested at 4:51 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension due to a prior DWI conviction, failure to carry insurance identification card, and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.
• A motor vehicle accident without injuries was investigated on Boston Post Road at Birnbaum Lane at 11:07 a.m.
• A breach of peace incident was investigated at 1324 Boston Post Road at 3:27 p.m.
• A theft from a residence was investigated at 39 Orchard Park Road at 4:17 p.m.
• A motor vehicle accident with injuries involving intoxicated driving was investigated on Duck Hole Road at Horse Pond Road at 4:30 p.m.

• Disorderly conduct via a fight was investigated at 94 West Wharf Road at 12:38 a.m.
• A motor vehicle accident with injuries was investigated on Durham Road at Old Route 79 at 10:55 a.m.
• A domestic dispute was investigated on Island Avenue at 11:14 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 6
• A 59 year-old man of Oak Avenue was arrested at 6:02 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop in front of 1651 Durham Road.

• Sudden death was reported at 13 Britton Lane at 12:47 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident with injuries was investigated on Nortontown Road at Green Hill Road at 4:59 p.m.
• A water rescue was conducted on Middle Beach Road at Tuxis Road at 11:05 p.m.

• A 27 year-old man of Monson, Massachusetts was arrested at 12:12 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident), and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Duck Hole Road.

• A 23 year-old man of Queens, New York was arrested at 12 noon on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.
• A 57 year-old woman of Taylor Avenue was arrested at 9:25 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Boston Post Road at Longshore Lane.
• Harassment was investigated below the 100 block of Scotland Avenue at 11:16 a.m.
• A theft was investigated at 50 Randi Drive at 11:18 a.m.
• A burglary was investigated at 26 Wildcat Road at 5:26 p.m.

• A 38 year-old Old Lyme woman was arrested at 7 a.m. on a warrant charging her with burglary in the third degree, criminal trespass in the third degree, criminal mischief in the first degree, larceny in the third degree, and operation of a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension.
• Harassment was investigated on Lake Drive at 10:32 a.m.
• Vandalism was investigated at 97 Scotland Avenue at 12:49 p.m.

• A 46 year-old Clinton man was arrested at 7:14 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to pay or plead a citation.
• Breach of peace was investigated on the 1300 block of Boston Post Road at 2:02 a.m.
• A motor vehicle accident with injuries was investigated on Durham Road at Goat Lot Road at 6:47 a.m.
Friday, Aug. 18
• A 49 year-old woman of New York, New York was arrested at 12:36 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs following a motor vehicle stop or erratic operation of a motor vehicle on Durham Road near Forest Road.
• A 27 year-old Killingworth man was arrested at 1:32 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to drive a reasonable distance part following a motor vehicle stop at 613 Boston Post Road.
• A theft was investigated at 136 Yankee Peddler Path at 10:32 p.m.

• A 23 year-old Guilford woman was arrested at 7:20 p.m. and charged with burglary in the second degree.
• Neighbor trouble was investigated on Lovers Lane at 2:09 p.m.

• A burglary was investigated at 70 Woodland Road at 6:52 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident in which an operator evaded the scene was investigated at 633 Boston Post Road at 12:47 p.m.

• A motor vehicle accident with injuries was investigated on Durham Road at Warpas Road at 6:13 p.m.

• A 19 year-old woman of Fox Run Lane was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:29 p.m. for failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart after the 2013 Nissan Sentra she was operating northbound on Route 81 struck the rear of a 2016 Nissan Altima operated by a 68 year-old woman of Chittenden Road. The Altima was stopped at the intersection of Route 81 and Lovers Lane as the driver was preparing to turn left onto Lovers Lane when the collision occurred. No injuries were reported or observed.
Friday, Aug. 4 to Friday, Aug. 11

Saturday, Aug. 12
No arrests were made.
• A 26 year-old woman of unrecorded address was issued a citation at 4:03 p.m. for failure to drive right after the 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee she was operating eastbound on Stevens Road near Route 81 collided with a wire-rope guardrail. No injuries were reported or observed. The vehicle had to be towed.

• A motor vehicle accident was investigated on Roast Meat Hill Road at 5:51 p.m. A 40 year-old man of Dover, New Jersey was operating a 2004 utility pole truck southbound on North Roast Meat Hill Road near Parker Hill Road when the vehicle clipped a low hanging wire and pulled pole number 1198 down. No injuries were reported or observed. No enforcement action was taken.

• A 75 year-old Madison man was issued a written warning at 1:59 p.m. for unsafe backing after the 2008 Pontiac Solstice he was operating in the parking lot of the Country Clover Leaf Shell station struck the passenger side quarter panel of a 2014 Honda CR-V that belonged to a Hartford woman. No injuries were reported or observed.
• Troopers investigated a hit-and-run collision on Route 81 near Stevens Road at 9:24 p.m. The operator of the suspected vehicle fled the scene after the accident and was wanted by police. The suspect vehicle was described as a dark green sedan. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact trooper O’Brien at 860-399-2100 and refer to case number 17-438988. The identity of all callers will be kept confidential.
