The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, June 29

No arrests were made.

Thursday, June 30

• A 50 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 3:27 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and simple trespass.

• A 21 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 7:04 a.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to pay or plead a citation.

• A 33 year-old East Haven woman was arrested at 8:31 p.m. and charged with breach of peace.

• A 28 year-old Wallingford man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:06 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Friday, July 1

• A 30 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 10:39 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• A 60 year-old New Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:30 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Saturday, July 2

• A 31 year-old man of Monroe Street was arrested at 2 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree.

• A 28 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:51 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspensions, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, misuse of plate, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Sunday, July 3

• A 26 year-old man of Mohawk Drive was arrested at 11 a.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree and larceny in the third degree.

Monday, July 4

• A 26 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 3 p.m. and charged with use or possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, and criminal attempt.

• A 51 year-old Branford woman was arrested at 3:15 p.m. and charged with use or possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, and criminal attempt.

• A 45 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:32 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to obey a control signal, and improper license classification for vehicle driven.

Tuesday, July 5

• A 60 year-old man of Raleigh, North Carolina was arrested at 8:46 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the first degree.

Wednesday, July 6

• A 21 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 11:07 a.m. and charged with larceny in the second degree.

• A 30 year-old West Haven woman was arrested at 7:50 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree and disorderly conduct.

• A 53 year-old Branford man was arrested at 7:54 p.m. and charged with risk of injury to a minor, possession of child pornography in the third degree, and patronizing a prostitute.

• A 31 year-old man of Sheffield Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:57 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to have stop lamps.

Thursday, July 7

• A 44 year-old man of Rose Lane was arrested at 11:19 a.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and threatening.

• A 49 year-old Norwalk man was arrested at 3:53 p.m. and charged with burglary in the second degree, conspiracy to commit burglary in the second degree, aiding and abetting, illegal possession of narcotics, and failure to keep a prescription drugs in its original container. The arrest took place following an investigation into an incident on Primrose Street. A man knocked on the door of a home claiming to be a representative of the South Central Connecticut Water Authority. The man convinced the victim to accompany him to the basement while he checked the water pipes. While doing so, the suspect’s two accomplices entered the home. An observant landscaper who was nearby and familiar with the homeowner noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in front of the home. He confronted the suspects who fled the area in a vehicle. North Haven officers responded, secured the scene, and conducted an extensive search of the area including a K-9 track. An area broadcast was made describing the suspects and the vehicle that fled the scene. Five minutes later, the Connecticut State Police located the suspect vehicle traveling on Interstate 91. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was taken into custody. The accomplices were not immediately located. Anyone who witnesses similar suspicious activity is asked to contact the North Haven Police Department at 203-239-1616.

• A 41 year-old Meriden woman was arrested at 9 a.m. and charged with possession of a controlled substance and failure to keep a prescription drug in its original container.

Monday, July 11

• A 30 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 4:56 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

Tuesday, July 12

• A 19 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 4 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 42 year-old woman of Ezra Street was arrested at 9:15 a.m. and charged with falsely reporting an incident in the second degree.

• A 23 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 9:31 p.m. and charged with burglary in the third degree and larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 53 year-old man of Round Hill Road was issued a citation at 1:51 p.m. for allowing a dog to roam and creating an animal nuisance.

Wednesday, July 13

• A 46 year-old Woodbridge man was arrested at 12:11 p.m. and charged with stalking in the first degree, violation of a protective order, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

• A 32 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 5:27 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, misuse of plate, and violation of license classification for vehicle driven.

Thursday, July 14

• An 18 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 10:05 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 32 year-old East Haven woman was arrested at 1 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the second degree.

Friday, July 15

• A 46 year-old Woodbridge man was arrested at 12:11 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 27 year-old woman of Monroe, New York was arrested at 12:45 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree, identity theft in the third degree, criminal impersonation, and two counts of forgery in the second degree.

• An 18 year-old woman of Bradley Street was arrested at 5 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.

• A 23 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:34 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle without insurance, failure to obey a control signal, and operating a motor without a driver’s license.

Sunday, July 17

• A 42 year-old Hamden man was arrested at 9 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the second degree.

• A 20 year-old Waterbury man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 4:31 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license or registration suspension and failure to grant right of way at an intersection.

Monday, July 18 to Tuesday, July 19
