Guilford Police Incident Report for April 28 and 29
Tuesday, April 28
• A 54 year-old man of Moose Hill Road was arrested at 9:59 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct.
• At 4:38 p.m. a woman reported that she found a brand new purse with tags still on it in her trash at 221 Water Street.
• An unwanted person(s) complaint was investigated at 5:39 p.m. A large group of people were on Yacht Club property taking pictures of eagles. They refused to leave. A vehicle with CT registration plate MY4543 belonged to one of the trespassers.
• At 7:25 p.m. an anonymous caller reported that a maroon Taurus containing young females yelling and screaming was driven through the area of Woodland Road.
Wednesday, April 29
• A 36 year-old North Haven man was arrested at 8:34 p.m. and charged with violation of a protective order.
During the week of April 23 to 29 Guilford Police received 185 calls for service. Police made three arrests, investigated 19 motor vehicle accidents, and issued 19 citations, 43 written warnings, four verbal warnings, and no parking tags. Police also responded to nine false burglar alarms. A total of 316 incidents were handled by police.
