Old Saybrook Police Incident Report for July 16 to 20
The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Wednesday, July 16
No arrests were made.
Thursday, July 17
• A 25 year-old man of Crowmwell Court was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:30 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension, traveling unreasonably fast, and failure to have insurance following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 at River Street.
Friday, July 18
• A 33 year-old man of Lookout Hill Road was arrested at 11:45 p.m. and charged with two counts of forgery in the second degree. He was processed and released after posting a $2,500 surety bond.
Saturday, July 19
• A 38 year-old Ivoryton man was arrested at 5:27 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree. He was processed and held on a $2,500 surety bond.
Sunday, July 20
No arrests were made.
• A 54 year-old Westbrook man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:01 p.m. for operating an unregistered motor vehicle and failure to have insurance following a motor vehicle stop on Saybrook Road at Route 1.
• An 18 year-old man of South View Terrace was issued a citation at 6:29 a.m. for simple trespass at 28 Sunrise Avenue.
