Saturday, July 12
• A 28 year-old man of Fairmont, Pennsylvania was arrested at 12:21 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the third degree. He was processed on a $5,000 bond amount.
Sunday, July 13
• A 43 year-old Shelton man was arrested at 5:19 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and criminal attempt to commit larceny in the sixth degree.
Monday, July 14
• A 51 year-old man of Agawam, Massachusetts was arrested at 12 midnight and charged with disorderly conduct under the domestic violence act. He was processed on a $1,500 surety bond amount.
• A 33 year-old Ivoryton woman was arrested at 4:02 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.
• A 23 year-old woman of Etna, New Hampshire was issued a citation at 2:14 a.m. for possession of less than ½ ounce of marijuana and use or possession of drug paraphernalia containing less than ½ ounce of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 at Ledge Road.
Tuesday, July 15
• A 42 year-old Westbrook woman was arrested at 12:42 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, breach of peace in the second degree, illegal possession of a controlled substance, driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and violation of a protective order under the domestic violence act. She was processed on a $25,000 bond amount.
From July 2 to 15 Old Saybrook police also issued 11 citations for motorists for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, three citations for traveling unreasonably fast, two citations for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, and two citations for failure to obey a stop sign.
