Thursday, June 5
• A 44 year-old Hamden woman was arrested at 9:32 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.
• Criminal mischief was investigated at 184 Weatherly Trail at 4:40 p.m. Someone threw a large rock through a picture window while the homeowner was in the residence.
• A residential theft was investigated at 84 Hoyt Lane at 2:02 p.m. Jewelry was taken from the residence.
• A turtle was reported in the roadway in front to 124 Flat Marsh Road at 2:31 p.m. Police checked the area and found no turtle.
• A resident of Davis Drive reported that a dog defecated on this property at 5:03 p.m. A family member was walking the dog on a lease. Police spoke with the dog owner.
• A sick raccoon was reported under a car at 69 Boston Post Road at 5:51 p.m.
Friday, June 6
No arrests were made.
• A mailbox was blown up at 337 Nut Plains Road at 11:55 p.m.
• An ongoing dog barking problem was investigated on the upper 1800 block of Little Meadow Road at 8:01 p.m.
Saturday, June 7
• A 51 year-old Deep River man was arrested at 2:44 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.
• A 41 year-old man of Moose Hill Road was arrested at 11:58 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.
• A fraud complaint was investigated on Fawn Hill Court at 3:02 p.m. An authorized credit card was opened using the complainant’s social security number.
• People with alcohol were reported at Chaffinch Island Park at 4:56 p.m.
• An elderly female was reported throwing furniture on the 100 block of West Lake Avenue at 7 p.m.
• A complaint about SUVs parked in a circle on a beach on Neck Road with several juveniles being loud and adults hanging out on the beach was investigated at 11:30 p.m. Police told the group they were too noisy and trespassing. They left without incident.
