Old Saybrook Police Incident Report for Dec. 1 to 3
The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Sunday, Dec. 1
• A 16 year-old was arrested at 9:24 p.m. and charged with use and possession of drug paraphernalia.
• A 51 year-old man of Ingham Hill Road was issued a citation at 11:52 a.m. for creating a public disturbance.
Monday, Dec. 2
• A 44 year-old man of a Boston Post Road apartment was arrested at 5:22 p.m. and charged with threatening in the second degree and disorderly conduct under the Domestic Violence Act. He was processed on a $2,500 bond amount.
Tuesday, Dec. 3
• A 26 year-old man of Essex Road was arrested at 9:17 p.m. and charged with taking a motor vehicle without permission. He was processed and held in lieu of a $1,000 surety bond.
• Between November 27 and December 3 Old Saybrook police also issued six citations to motorists for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, two citations for failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, one citation for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, and one citation for failure to grant right of way.
