Chester Police Incident Report for Nov. 13 to 16
The Valley Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Essex, Deep River, and Chester. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Wednesday, Nov. 13 - Thursday, Nov. 14
• No arrests were made and no incidents were reported.
Friday, Nov. 15
• A 19 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 12:46 p.m. and charged with reckless driving after he was clocked traveling at 103 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone on Route 9 in Chester.
Saturday, Nov. 16
• No arrests were made.
• At 6:14 p.m. police investigated a complaint called in by a 41 year-old woman of Bates Road involving the theft of her debit card and a fraudulent withdrawal made with the card. The case was still under investigation at press time.
