Deep River Police Incident Report for Nov. 2 to 5
The Valley Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Essex, Deep River, and Chester. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Saturday, Nov. 2
• No arrests were made.
• A 56 year-old Chester woman was issued a citation at 5:01 p.m. for failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway after the 2004 Mercury Marquis she was operating northbound on Route 154 struck the rear of a 2000 Ford Taurus operated by a 50 year-old Chester woman who was stopped at the intersection of Route 154 and Spring Street in preparation of make a left turn onto Spring Street. The operator of the Ford was transported to the Middlesex Shoreline Clinic by Deep River Ambulance for injuries sustained in the crash.
