The Valley Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Essex, Deep River, and Chester. Saturday, Nov. 2

• No arrests were made.

• A 56 year-old Chester woman was issued a citation at 5:01 p.m. for failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway after the 2004 Mercury Marquis she was operating northbound on Route 154 struck the rear of a 2000 Ford Taurus operated by a 50 year-old Chester woman who was stopped at the intersection of Route 154 and Spring Street in preparation of make a left turn onto Spring Street. The operator of the Ford was transported to the Middlesex Shoreline Clinic by Deep River Ambulance for injuries sustained in the crash.
