North Haven Police Incident Report for Nov. 5


The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Tuesday, Nov. 5

• A 32 year-old Hamden woman was arrested at 11:22 a.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree.

• A 65 year-old Wallingford woman was arrested at 3:50 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway.

• A 43 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 7:39 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, theft of a number plate, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plate, failure to have insurance, and operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension.

• From October 30 to November 5 North Haven police also issued four citations to motorists for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, two citations for failure to renew registration, and two citations for traveling unreasonably fast. One citation was issued for each of the following: operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, failure to grant right of way, failure to obey a control signal, failure to maintain a reasonable distance apart, and failure to obey height restrictions.
