Essex Police Incident Report for April 29 and 30
The Valley Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Essex, Deep River, and Chester. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Monday, April 29
• No arrests were made.
• A 47 year-old man of Carroll, Massachusetts was issued a citation at 5:48 a.m. for failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway after he lost control of the 2012 Chevy Express he was operating and struck a 2007 tractor trailer operated by a 24 year-old Rhode Island man. No injuries were reported at the scene as a result of the accident.
