Essex Police Incident Report for April 24 to 26


The Valley Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Essex, Deep River, and Chester. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Wednesday, April 24

• No arrests were made.

• A 27 year-old Chester woman was issued a written warning at 6:46 a.m. for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart after the 2006 Mazda 3 she was operating southbound on Westbrook Road struck the rear of a 1997 Ford Ranger operated by a 55 year-old Chester woman who had slowed to make a left turn into a gas station. No injuries were sustained as a result of the accident.

• No arrests were made and no incidents were reported.
