Old Saybrook Police Incident Report for March 31 to April 2


The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Sunday, March 31

• No arrests were made.

Monday, April 1

• A 64 year-old man of Coulter Street was arrested at 7:39 p.m. and charged with threatening in the second degree and disorderly conduct under the domestic violence act. He was processed on a $50,000 surety bond pending an April 2 court date.

Tuesday, April 2

• No arrests were made.

• From March 27 to April 2 Old Saybrook police also issued seven citations to motorists for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, two citations for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, two citations for traveling unreasonably fast, two citations for failure to grant right of way, and one citation for failure to obey a stop sign.
