East Haven Police Incident Report for March 31 to April 2


The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Sunday, March 31

• A 29 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 1:45 a.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and assault in the second degree.

• A 24 year-old New Haven woman was arrested at 2:30 a.m. and charged with interfering with an officer and breach of peace in the second degree. She was processed on a $1,500 bond amount.

• A 25 year-old Branford woman was arrested at 3:19 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree following a shop lifting incident.

Monday, April 1

• A 46 year-old woman of Mansfield Grove Road was arrested at 12:18 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 52 year-old Branford woman was arrested at 2:49 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree following shoplifting incident at 370 Hemingway Avenue.

• A 41 year-old Middletown man was arrested at 6 p.m. and charged with harassment in the second degree and threatening in the second degree. He was processed on a $2,500 bond amount.

Tuesday, April 2

• A 27 year-old Branford man was arrested at 2:54 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree following a shoplifting incident on Saltonstall Parkway west at the Velero gas station.
