Old Saybrook Police Incident Report for March 17 to 19
The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Sunday, March 17
• A 52 year-old Guilford woman was arrested at 6:14 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 at Lynde Street.
• A 17 year-old was issued a citation at 1:20 a.m. for violation of passenger restrictions imposed on a 16 or 17 year-old driver between midnight and 5 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop on Route 154 in front of Auto Mall.
Monday, March 18 - Tuesday, March 19
• No arrests were made.
• From March 13 to 19 Old Saybrook police issued six citations to motorists for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, four citations for traveling unreasonably fast, and one citation for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.
