Old Saybrook Police Incident Reprot for Sept. 23 to 25


The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Sunday, Sept. 23

• A 39 year-old man of Ferry Road was arrested at 7:37 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree under the Domestic Violence Act.

• A 52 year-old woman of a Coulter Street apartment was issued a misdemeanor summons at 10:09 a.m. for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to have insurance, and operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 at Elm Street.

Monday, Sept. 24

• A 15 year-old was arrested at 4:03 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and assault in the third degree. In the same incident a 16 year-old was charged with disorderly conduct.

Tuesday, Sept. 25

• A 32 year-old woman of Main Street was arrested at 12:58 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drug, interfering with an officer, possession of marijuana, and failure to drive in the proper lane of a multiple lane highway following a motor vehicle stop on Main Street at Pennywise Lane.
