North Haven Police Incident Report for Sept. 5 to 7
The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Wednesday, Sept. 5
• A 30 year-old Hamden man was arrested at 7:14 p.m. and charged with having weapons in a motor vehicle and failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat.
• A 28 year-old man of Standish Avenue was arrested at 10:30 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of narcotics, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to keep a prescription drug in its original container, and operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension. In the same incident at 28 year-old woman of the same residence was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
• A 27 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 1:49 p.m. for reckless driving.
Thursday, Sept. 6
• A 47 year-old man of Centerbrook Road was arrested at 10:28 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and improper signaling for a turn.
• A 45 year-old man of Hemingway Road was arrested at 3:45 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct and unlawful restraint in the second degree.
• A 21 year-old New Haven man was arrested at 11:36 p.m. and charged with possession of narcotics and use and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Friday, Sept. 7
• A 21 year-old man of Todd Drive was arrested at 10:15 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the second degree. At 10:15 p.m. he was arrested again and charged with illegally obtaining of supplying drugs and use and possession of drug paraphernalia.
