Deep River Police Incident Report for Aug. 22 to 28
The Valley Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Essex, Deep River, and Chester. Wednesday, Aug. 22
• No arrests were made and no incidents were reported.
Thursday, Aug. 23
• No arrests were made.
• At 2:15 p.m. police reported that a 53 year-old man of Winthrop Road was operating a 2004 Lincoln Continental on Route 80 near the Deep River Transfer Station when the vehicle became disabled. While backing along the roadway he struck a metal beam guard rail causing damage to the right side of the Lincoln. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed by Fred & George’s garage. No enforcement action was indicated.
