Branford Police Incident Report for Aug. 10 to 12
The Sound publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in Branford and North Branford. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Friday, Aug. 10
• A 21 year-old man of a Main Street apartment was arrested at 8:30 a.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree and breach of peace.
• A 35 year-old woman of a Main Street apartment was issued a misdemeanor summons at 8:49 a.m. for failure to have insurance, operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and using a hand-held cell phone while driving.
• A 53 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 12:20 p.m. and charged with violation of a protective order.
• A 30 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 7:06 p.m. for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to have insurance, operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension, and using a hand-held cell phone while driving.
Saturday, Aug. 11
• A 31 year-old man of Brocketts Point Road was arrested at 3:15 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree and breach of peace.
Sunday, Aug. 12
• A 42 year-old Waterbury man was arrested at 10:34 a.m. and charged with breach of peace.
