Old Saybrook Police Incident Report for July 25 and 26
The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Wednesday, July 25• A 22 year-old Meriden woman was arrested at 4:06 p.m. on a warrant held by Old Saybrook police charging her with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and traveling unreasonably fast.
Thursday, July 26• A 20 year-old Old Lyme man was charged at 2:45 a.m. with possession of drug paraphernalia on Vincent Avenue.
• A 32 year-old Niantic man was arrested at 7 a.m. on a warrant held by Old Saybrook police charging him with misuse of marker plates.
• A 16 year-old was issued a citation at 11:55 p.m. for violation of the passenger restrictions imposed on a 16 or 17 year old driver within the first six months of having earned a driver’s license following a motor vehicle stop on Nehantic Trail.
