Guilford Police Incident Report for July 19 and 20
The Guilford Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for length and content.
Thursday, July 19
•A 19 year-old Glenwood Drive resident was charged on a warrant with third-degree burglary, first-degree larceny, third-degree criminal mischief, and three counts of conspiracy.
•An 18 year-old Madison resident was charged with sixth-degree larceny.
•A 36 year-old Route 80 resident was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a child, reckless driving, failure to drive upon the right side of the road, interfering with an officer and two counts of use of drug paraphernalia, after she her vehicle was stopped by police on Route 80, 1800 block, 5:12 p.m.
•A 49 year-old Madison resident was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs or both.
•A 24 year-old Barnshed Lane resident was charged on a warrant with third-degree burglary, first-degree larceny, third-degree criminal mischief and three counts of conspiracy.
•Criminal mischief, mailbox smashed overnight, Long Hill Road, 2200 block.
•Animal bite incident, Russo Drive, 12:55 p.m.
•A shoplifting incident was reported at Wal*Mart, 900 Boston Post Road, 1:04 p.m.
•Family dispute, Mirror Lane, 2:06 p.m.
•A shoplifting incident was reported at Big Y, 830 Boston Post Road, 3:26 p.m.
Friday, July 20
•A 19 year-old Glenwood Drive resident was charged on warrants for one count of first-degree failure to appear in court and two counts of second-degree failure to appear in court.
•A 48 year-old Branford resident was charged with sixth-degree larceny.
•A 32 year-old Maple Hill Road resident was charged with possession of narcotics.
•A 35 year-old North Branford resident was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs or both and failure to drive upon the right side of the road.
•A shoplifting incident was reported at Big Y, 830 Boston Post Road, 5:56 p.m.
•Theft from residence, Colonial Road, reported at 6:45 p.m.
