Clinton Police Incident Report for July 27 and 28
The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Friday, July 27
• A 53 year-old Wolcott man was arrested at 10:15 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs following a motor vehicle stop on Beach Park Road at Park Place.
• Criminal mischief was investigated on Bright Hill Road at 7:29 a.m.
• A neighbor dispute was investigated on Cross Avenue at 8:29 a.m.
• A shoplifting incident was investigated on West Main Street at 10:59 a.m.
• Harassment was investigated on old Cambridge Court at 3:34 p.m.
• Criminal mischief was investigated on Hammock Road at 6:16 p.m.
• A larceny was investigated on East Main Street at 10:37 p.m.
Saturday, July 28
• An 18 year-old man of Hide A Way was arrested at 1:11 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct following a domestic disturbance.
• A 24 year-old man of Colonial Drive was issued a citation at 12:14 a.m. for possession of less than four ounces of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on High Street.
• An 85 year-old man of Fairy Dell Road was issued a citation at 8:19 a.m. for creating a public disturbance on Nod Road.
• A larceny as investigated on Killingworth Turnpike at 6:50 p.m.
• Harassment was investigated on Fernwood Lane at 9:01 p.m.
