Old Saybrook Police Incident Report for April 22 to 24
The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Sunday, April 22
• No arrests were made.
Monday, April 23
• No arrests were made.
• A 30 year-old Clinton woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:53 a.m. for failure to have insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension following a motor vehicle stop on Main Street.
Tuesday, April 24
• A 21 year-old Stratford woman was arrested at 3:07 a.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to pay or plead a citation. She was also issued a misdemeanor summons for improper use of marker plates.
• A 22 year-old Lyme man was arrested at 9:27 p.m. on a warrant charging him with making a false statement in the second degree.
• From April 18 to 24 Old Saybrook police also issued three citations to motorists for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, two citations for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, one citation for traveling unreasonably fast, and one citation for failure to grant right of way while making a left turn.
