East Haven Police Incident Report for April 8 to 10
The East Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content. • A 41 year-old North Branford man was arrested at 2:19 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in the first degree, carrying a dangerous weapon, interfering with an officer, illegal manufacture or distribution of narcotics, two counts of illegal possession of narcotics, and two counts of violation of probation. He was held in lieu of a combined $200,000 surety bond.
• A 31 year-old woman of George Street was arrested at 2:19 a.m. on Hemingway Avenue near Dodge Street and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, interfering with an officer, and possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana (a citation). She was processed on a $5,000 surety bond.
• A 31 year-old New Britain woman was arrested at 11:44 a.m. and charged with larceny in the second degree. She was processed on a $1,500 non-surety bond.
• No arrests were made.
• A 24 year-old West Haven woman was issued a misdemeanor summons at 11:30 p.m. for evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle (fleeing the scene of an accident) and failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.
