Old Saybrook Police Incident Report for Feb. 24 to 26
The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. • No arrests were made.
• A 16 year-old was issued a citation at 2:35 a.m. for violation of passenger restrictions placed on 16 and 17 year-old drivers following a motor vehicle stop on Sharon Lane at Great Hammock Road.
• A 28 year-old Ivoryton man was arrested at 2 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.
• A 47 year-old man of Bensalem, Pennsylvania was arrested at 11:15 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree and larceny in the sixth degree by possession following an incident at 1745 Boston Post Road.
• A 47 year-old man of Tiverton, Rhode Island was arrested at 11:18 p.m. and charged with breach of peace in the second degree.
• A 20 year-old Jewett City man was issued a citation at 1:21 p.m. for possession of drug paraphernalia containing less tan ½ ounce of marijuana at 744 Boston Post Road.
• A 31 year-old Higganum man was arrested at 10:14 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to dim high beams, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Essex Road at Sunset Avenue.
