North Branford Police Incident Report for Feb. 6 and 7
The Sound publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in Branford and North Branford. • A 29 year-old Waterbury woman was arrested at 12 p.m. and charged with larceny in the third degree, identity theft in the third degree, forgery in the third degree, and tampering with or fabricating evidence.
• A 20 year-old man of Foxon Road was arrested at 4:25 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct, criminal violation of a restraining order, and threatening.
• A 57 year-old man of unknown address was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:31 a.m. for reckless driving and evading responsibility in the operation of a motor vehicle following an accident in which there was property damage or bodily injury (fleeing the scene). He was operating a blue 2010 Kenworth tractor trailer.
• No arrests were made.
• From February 1 to 7 North Branford police also issued two citations to motorists for improper passing. One citation was issued for each of the following: improper number of lamps for snow removal, failure to obey a control signal, failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, improper right turn, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, improper muffler, having tinted windows without a DMV approval sticker, and traveling unreasonably fast.
