Old Saybrook Police Incident Report for Jan. 9 and 10
The Harbor News publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Clinton, Westbrook, and Old Saybrook. • No arrests were made.
• A 36 year-old Meriden man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:15 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to have insurance following a motor vehicle stop on Essex Road at Trolling Crossing.
• A 45 year-old man of Hill Street was arrested at 1:06 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and traveling unreasonably fast following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1.
• A 38 year-old Groton woman was arrested at 11:04 p.m. on a warrant (held by Old Saybrook police for a crime committed in their town) charging her with breach of peace in the second degree.
• A 27 year-old man of Boston Post Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at noon for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 near Spencer Plains Road.
