Branford Police Incident Report for Nov. 22
The Sound publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in Branford and North Branford. • A 42 year-old East Haven woman was arrested at 5:50 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.
• A 28 year-old East Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 12:31 a.m. for failure to have insurance and failure to obey a control signal.
• From November 16 to 22 Branford police also issued 66 citations to motorists for using a hand-held cell phone while driving, 20 citations for failure to obey a control signal, 15 citations for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, eight citations for failure to obey a stop sign, eight citations for failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, two citations for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, two citations for traveling unreasonably fast, one citation for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, one citation for failure to maintain the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and one citation for failure to obey street signs or markings.
