Killingworth Police Incident Report for June 15 to 21

• At 4:04 p.m. police reported that a 20 year-old Durham man was operating a 2003 Suzuki GSX R100 motorcycle eastbound on Route 148 two-tenths of a mile east of Lover’s Lane when he approached a hump in the road, accelerated, and lost control of the vehicle. He was ejected from the motorcycle and slid 200 feet. The bike also slid 200 feet and left the travel portion of the roadway and came to final rest in a wooded area. The driver was transported by Clinton Ambulance to the Hospital of Saint Raphael for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. The motorcycle was removed from the scene by Aronson’s Auto.
