North Haven Police Incident Reprot for May 11 & 12
The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content. Wednesday, May 11Thursday, May 12Senior correspondent Jason J. • No arrests were made.
• A 27 year-old Branford man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 8 a.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension, failure to drive right, and using a hand-held cell phone while driving.
• A 47 year-old man of Highland Park Road was issued a misdemeanor summons at 6:28 p.m. for reckless driving (greater than 85 miles per hour).
• A 26 year-old woman of a Sentinel Hill Road apartment was arrested at 9:46 a.m. and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to have stop lamps, and failure to drive in the proper lane of a multiple lane highway. While in custody she was also arrested on two outstanding warrants each charging her with failure to appear in the second degree.
• A 26 year-old woman of Blakeslee Avenue was arrested at 2:22 p.m. and charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana, use and possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to keep a prescription drug in its original container. While in custody she was also arrested on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in the second degree.
