Branford Police Incident Report for May 11


The Sound publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in Branford and North Branford. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content. Wednesday, May 11Senior correspondent Jason J. Marchi compiles the Police Incident Report.

• A 23 year-old Bridgeport man and a 26 year-old West Haven man were arrested at 2:26 a.m. and charged with larceny in the second degree, manufacture of burglar’s tools, and conspiracy to commit larceny. The 23 year-old was also issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license.

• A 32 year-old man of South Montowese Avenue was arrested at 10:40 a.m. and charged with burglary in the first degree, larceny in the first degree, and conspiracy to commit burglary and larceny.

• A 34 year-old Waterbury woman was arrested at 4 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and conspiracy to commit larceny.

• A 35 year-old Waterbury man was arrested at 4:15 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree, robbery in the third degree, carjacking, interfering with an officer, assault on a peace office, violation of probation, and conspiracy to commit burglary and larceny.

• A 32 year-old Waterbury man was arrested at 4:16 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree, interfering with an officer, and conspiracy to commit larceny.

• A 33 year-old Derby man was arrested at 8:10 p.m. and charged with two counts of failure to appear in the second degree after he was issued a misdemeanor summons for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension and failure to obey a control signal.
