North Branford Police Incident Report for Oct. 19
The Sound publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in Branford and North Branford. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content. Tuesday, Oct. 19Police correspondent Jason J. • No arrests were made.
• A 28 year-old Chester woman was issued a citation at 9:10 a.m. for creating an animal nuisance and allowing a dog to roam.
• From Oct. 13 to 16 North Branford police also issued 12 citations to motorists for traveling unreasonably fast, six citations for failure to obey a control signal, two citations for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, and two citations for using a hand-held cell phone while driving. One citation was issued for each of the following: improper passing, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, failure to obey a stop sign, failure to grant right of way, and failure to carry registration or insurance card.
