The Sound publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in Branford and North Branford. • No arrests were made.

• A 28 year-old Chester woman was issued a citation at 9:10 a.m. for creating an animal nuisance and allowing a dog to roam.

• From Oct. 13 to 16 North Branford police also issued 12 citations to motorists for traveling unreasonably fast, six citations for failure to obey a control signal, two citations for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, and two citations for using a hand-held cell phone while driving. One citation was issued for each of the following: improper passing, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, failure to obey a stop sign, failure to grant right of way, and failure to carry registration or insurance card.
