Essex Police Incident Report July 10 and 11
The Valley Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Essex, Deep River, and Chester. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

• No arrests were made.
• At 3:05 p.m. Trooper Robert Lanouette reported that a 62 year-old woman of Main Street in Ivoryton was operating a 2001 Subaru Legacy when she struck the rear of a 2005 Honda Accord operated by a 20 year-old woman of Long Meadow, Massachusetts who had stopped for traffic. No injuries were reported at the scene and no charges were indicated.
• No arrests were made and no significant incidents were reported.
