North Haven High School alumni and current students as well as North Haven community members held a Black Lives Matter protest on the North Haven Town Green on Aug. 22. The protest which had over 100 people gathered, had speakers share their stories, poetry and then group took to the streets with their message marching down Washington Ave. There were a few trucks that circled the Green with Blue Lives Matter flags, and other that stood on the edges of the Green observing, and some drivers passing by honking in support as they passed the Green.Photo by Kelley Fryer/The Courier
