Gloria Treat

Gloria F. Treat, 77, of Westbrook, passed away on Oct. 26, 2024, at the Shoreline Clinic in Westbrook after a brief illness. Gloria was born on March 11, 1947, in New Haven and was the daughter of Gordon and Alice Downs Treat.

She was a home healthcare aide for many years before her retirement. Gloria was a social butterfly who enjoyed lunch with her friends, driving around to different thrift stores, and shopping at some of her favorite places. But most of all, she loved being with her family.

Gloria is survived by her son, Frank Treat of Westbrook, and her granddaughter, Kayla Treat of Clinton. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Treat of Westbrook. She was predeceased by her sister, Nellie Johnson.

Friends and family may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, at the Swan Funeral Home, 80 East Main Street, in Clinton. Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Beaverdale Cemetery, 90 Pine Rock Avenue, in New Haven.
