Mark Palumbo Jr.

Mark Anthony Palumbo Jr., 47, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 9, 2024, from injuries received in an automobile fatality that evening. He was the beloved husband of Amanda Juliano Palumbo. He was a loving daddy to his two angels, Carina and Mia Palumbo.

Mark was born in New Haven on Dec. 12, 1976, the son of Marie Palumbo and Mark A. Palumbo Sr. and stepson of Kathleen Savage. Mark was a hairstylist and was the owner/operator of the Madison Avenue Hair & Skin Salons, a career that spanned 24 years. Mark also shared his passion for cars and owned MAP Auto Detailing LLC. He enjoyed exercising, but most of all, Mark enjoyed being with his family, whom he loved unconditionally.

He was the brother of Michele Brotz (Michael), Vincent Palumbo, Ph.D (Caitlin), and stepbrother of Clp. Michael Savage, and uncle to Mikayla and Aidan Brotz and Maggie Palumbo. Mark’s enthusiasm and lust for life will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

The visiting hours were on Oct. 13 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue, North Haven. Family and friends were invited to go directly to St. Margaret Church, 24 Academy Street, Madison, on Oct. 14 to attend a Mass of Christian burial.
