Megan C. Boswell

A beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend, Megan C. Boswell passed unexpectedly and peacefully at 28, on Aug. 10, 2024. in Hartford, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in New Haven Feb. 19, 1996, Megan grew up in Madison, where she attended Daniel Hand High School and graduated in 2014. She enjoyed playing soccer throughout her childhood and also lacrosse and soccer for the Daniel Hand Tigers. Megan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations at Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, in 2018.

She had a love for making memories, family gatherings, photographs, and watching family videos of special occasions in the past. She loved summer days, listening to music, adored all animals, and hanging at the beach with friends.

Megan is preceded in death by her mother, Jill E. (Scherber) Boswell; her twin sister, Sarah A. Boswell; and survived by her father, Peter "Bo" C. Boswell; and younger sister, Amy T. Boswell.

Her presence will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved her. When you think of Megan, remember her laughter and her essence of life and the love and light she gave to all of us. The fragile gift of life should be cherished. Hug those close to you and tell them they are loved often.

A memorial celebration of Megan’s life will be held with friends and family at a later date.
