She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Michael Dougherty; her parents, Florence and Ray Bugden; her father, Everett Robinson; and her brother, Raymond Bugden.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis J. Dougherty; her son, Darren Dougherty (Shannon); daughter, Nicole Gulliford (Curtis); grandchildren, Cori Radomski (Kevin), Trent Gulliford, Ashley Dougherty, Riley Dougherty, and Logan Dougherty; her great-grandson, Michael Radomski; sisters, Dorothy Maffucci and Lorraine Shepard; and her brother, Kenneth Bugden.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, at Westbrook Congregational Church, 1166 Boston Post Road, Westbrook. A celebration of life will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the American Legion, 113 Essex Road, Old Saybrook.
