08/01/2024 03:45 PMNicole Justine Lagasse, 55, passed away July 23, 2024, at Yale New Haven Hospital after a long, courageous battle. Born March 2, 1969, she was the daughter of Frederick and Mary Ann Pleva. Nicole was raised in Windsor, where she attended local schools and later business and secretarial school in Hartford.
She was a lifelong resident of Connecticut and lived many years in Coventry and other northeastern Connecticut towns before moving to the Connecticut Shoreline.
In addition to her parents, Nicole is survived by her brother, Jason Pleva; two aunts, Eileen Akers and Dianne Higgins; and several cousins and special friends, especially Steve Miezejeski, who was always there to provide assistance and support.
