Patricia Blair

Patricia A. Millest Blair, 75, of North Haven, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024, at Yale New Haven Hospital/St. Raphael’s campus. She was the beloved wife of 51 years to Bruce C. Blair. Patricia was born in New Haven on May 20, 1949, and was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude Higgins Millest.

She worked as a paraprofessional at North Haven High School for 28 years until her retirement. Patricia had a great sense of humor and was a lifelong resident of Sunrise Cove in Branford, where she enjoyed being with family and friends whom she loved unconditionally.

She was the mother of Bruce J. Blair (Melissa) and Kelley Dearborne; grandmother of Jonathan Dearborne (Emma), Jeffrey Dearborne, Nicole Blair, Jenna Dearborne (Bryan Prosco), Sean Dearborne, and Carmella Blair; sister of Jean McFarland (Robert); aunt of John McFarland (Katie) and Tracy DiPalma (Michael); great-aunt of Courtney and Caitlyn McFarland, Kayleigh DiPalma and the late Michael Anthony DiPalma Jr. She was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Ardis Blair.

The visiting hours were on July 24 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on July 25 in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue, North Haven. Interment followed in All Saints Cemetery.
